Mr. Hussam Abou Shaer

Biography

As the Sales Director for FSI in Microsoft Arabia, Hussam is responsible for overseeing Microsoft’s sales in KSA across these core industries for the entire Microsoft Enterprise Product Portfolio. Under his leadership a team of highly performing Industry Executives, Account Executives and Technical Strategists deliver customer centric innovative Microsoft Cloud technologies and enable and accelerate the Digital Transformation journey of their Enterprise Commercial customers.

Since joining Microsoft in 2008 Hussam has held a number of pivotal positions in the Saudi subsidiary serving as Sales Excellence Lead and FSI Sales Director. He excelled on these roles by driving execution and operating excellence, applying innovative thinking and cultivating Microsoft growth mindset culture. He is the receiver of several Local and Regional Awards.

Hussam is leveraging over 20 years of diverse senior managerial experience in the IT sector.

Prior to joining Microsoft, Hussam held senior positions as Territory Manager and Product Manager in leading multinational and regional corporations like CISCO, Al Faisaliah Advanced System Technology and Al Rajhi Banking Corp. During his tenure, Hussam forged long-term relationships with customers and partners and led with results-orientated mindset, focusing on elevating team morale by motivation and creating an inclusive, diverse and conducive working environment.

Hussam holds a Bachelor of Electronic Engineering from Damascus University, Syria and an MBA from American University London, UK. He is a dedicated life long learner regularly attending professional development training and holding numerous management and technology certificates.
