Biography

Javed is an experienced and highly accomplished Information & Communication Technologies (ICT), Information / Cyber Security and IS Audit Specialist with almost 20 years of career having vast knowledge and experience of information security and its governance, risk management, project management and IS audit in banking and telecom industries. He has a proven track-record of delivering projects consistently meeting organization’s goals and objectives. He possesses several world-renowned credentials in the fields of Information Security, Project Management and other areas.
He has been recognized several times by the management of his respective organizations and International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC)2 through honoring Information Security Leadership Achievement (ISLA) Award at Tokyo, Japan.
He has also been actively involved in various information security related activities for promoting awareness among the society. He has played a vital role and is among the pioneers in establishing Pakistan Information Security Association (PISA). He is currently serving as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at SAMBA Bank Ltd. (Pakistan).
