Biography

Naif A. Al Baz is an executive officer with experience in banks and non-bank financial institutions. He is currently the Chief Risk Officer of Gulf International Bank and Board Member at Bayan Credit Bureau. Before that, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Deutsche Gulf Finance (DGF), an affiliate of Deutsche Bank between Jan 2013 and October 2016. Before joining DGF, he worked at SAMBA Financial Group for the period between 2000 and 2013 in several senior managerial positions including corporate banking, risk committee, SMEs, treasury, and investment banking. He holds a BS in Finance from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals; and an MBA from King Saud University. Naif also holds an International Executive Doctorate degree from Cranfield University. He has obtained courses in leadership from INSEAD as well.

نايف بن عبد المحسن الباز هو مدير تنفيذي ذو خبرة طويلة في البنوك وشركات التمويل. يشغل حاليا منصب رئيس المخاطر ببنك الخليج الدولي وعضو مجلس إدارة بيان للأئتمان. وشغل قبل ذلك منصب الرئيس التنفيذي لدويتشه الخليج للتمويل في الفترة بين 2013-2016م. وعمل قبل هذه المدة في مجموعة سامبا المالية في عدة مناصب في الفترة ما بين 2000-2013م في عدة مجالات شملت تمويل الشركات والخزينة والتمويل الاستثماري وكان عضو في لجنة مخاطر الائتمان. نايف حاصل على درجة البكالوريوس في العلوم المالية من جامعة الملك فهد للبترول والمعادن وماجستير ادارة الأعمال من جامعة الملك سعود و دكتوراة في تمويل المنشات الصغيرة والمتوسطة من جامعة كرانفيلد. وحاصل على دورات في القيادة من جامعة انسياد.
